privacy-policy
ryanwilliamsonmd.com • Transcend Health Group, LLC
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using this Website.
This Website, ryanwilliamsonmd.com, and its content (the “Website”) are owned and operated by Transcend Health Group, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of the Website. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we collect about you when you use the Website and how we collect, use, process, share, and protect that information, including Personal Data.
The Website supports Dr. Ryan Williamson’s coaching, book, speaking, educational, and related programs and products, and provides general information about, and links to, the separate concierge medical practice described below. We will not use or share your information except as described in this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use, or any other contract that applies if you are a client, customer, or purchaser.
Important: This Website Is Not the Medical Practice
Transcend Health Group, LLC operates this Website for coaching, educational, book, speaking, marketing, and informational purposes. It is a separate legal entity from Transcend Health Medical, PC, the concierge medical practice (the “Practice”), which operates at transcendhealthmedical.com.
This Website does not provide medical care, does not collect medical records for the Practice, and does not create a physician-patient relationship. If you enroll as a patient in the concierge membership program, the collection and handling of your medical information is governed by the Practice’s separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, Membership Agreement, patient consents, and applicable Business Associate Agreements — not by this Privacy Policy.
Do not submit medical history, symptoms, diagnoses, laboratory results, imaging reports, genetic information, medications, insurance information, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive health information through this Website, its contact forms, scheduling forms, or general email links. Any health-related details you voluntarily include in a contact form or message to us will be treated with care, but doing so does not create a patient relationship, does not constitute a request for medical care, and does not make this Website a HIPAA-covered clinical communication channel.
Your Consent
Because the internet is an evolving medium, we may need to change this Privacy Policy in the future. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email and/or a prominent notice on the Website, and we will update the “Last Updated” date below. By continuing to use the Website after we post changes, you accept the revised Privacy Policy. By using the Website or its content, you consent to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
We collect personal information so we can provide you with a positive experience and deliver the products and services you request. We collect only the information reasonably necessary for these purposes. You may provide us with:
Name and email address. For example, when you subscribe to our newsletter or mailing list or submit a form.
Billing information. Name, address, payment method, and related billing information so we can process payment and deliver programs, products, or services you purchase.
Contact-form content. Your name, email address, and the message, question, or comment you submit. Do not include clinical, emergency, or sensitive health information in these forms.
Scheduling preferences. Information you provide when booking an introductory call, coaching consultation, or speaking inquiry through an integrated scheduling tool.
Program or product information. Information related to your purchase, access, participation, attendance, or communications regarding coaching, educational programs, speaking, books, communities, or digital products.
Affiliate or co-branded offer information. Information submitted through a co-branded or affiliate offer, where we will make reasonable efforts to clarify who is collecting the information and whose privacy policy applies.
The information described above is referred to as “Personal Data.” You provide it voluntarily, and by providing it you consent to our use, collection, and processing of it as described here. If you choose not to provide certain Personal Data, you may not be able to participate in certain aspects of the Website. You may opt out or request deletion of your Personal Data at any time by contacting us at hello@transcendhealthgroup.com.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Website, certain technical information may be collected automatically through cookies, pixels, log files, analytics tools, and similar technologies, including:
IP address and approximate geographic location;
browser type, operating system, and device information;
pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on the Website;
referring URL and search terms that led you to the Website;
session identifiers and similar usage data; and
advertising or retargeting identifiers, if those tools are enabled.
This traffic data helps us diagnose server problems, administer the Website, identify which areas are most heavily used, display content according to your preferences, evaluate marketing performance, and improve our services. Anonymous, aggregated traffic data may be shared with service providers, business partners, or advertising platforms; it does not personally identify you.
1.3 Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect Through This Website
This Website is not intended to collect medical history, diagnoses, treatment information, insurance information, Social Security numbers, prescription data, laboratory data, imaging data, genetic data, or other protected health information. Clinical information for patients is handled only by the Practice through its separate, HIPAA-compliant systems and agreements.
2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use the standard “cookies” feature of major web browsers and similar technologies to maintain session information, remember your preferences, collect analytics data, and, where applicable, evaluate marketing performance. The categories of cookies and technologies we may use include:
Essential cookies. Necessary for the Website to function, maintain security, load pages, and remember basic preferences.
Analytics cookies. Used to understand site traffic, page views, referral sources, and user interactions, such as through Google Analytics or similar tools.
Advertising and retargeting technologies. Used only if enabled, including pixels or identifiers from Google, Meta, LinkedIn, or similar platforms to measure advertising performance or show relevant ads.
Scheduling, payment, and embedded-service cookies. Used by third-party tools that support scheduling, payments, forms, videos, email subscriptions, customer relationship management, or similar services.
You may control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may diminish your experience, and some features may not work as intended. We do not intentionally set medical information or other sensitive health information in cookies. The Website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals; we will update this Policy if that changes.
3. How We Use Your Information
Unless you tell us otherwise, we use the information we collect for the purposes below. If you do not want us to use your information for any of these purposes, contact us using the information in Section 14.

Lawful Grounds for Processing
Where applicable law requires a lawful basis for processing your Personal Data, we rely on one or more of the following grounds:
Consent. For example, when you subscribe to a newsletter, submit a form, request information, or agree to receive marketing communications.
Performance of a contract. For example, when we process payment, provide access to a purchased product, or deliver a program or service you requested.

4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
Service providers. We work with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Website and our business, including hosting providers, email and newsletter platforms, payment processors, scheduling tools, analytics services, advertising tools, customer relationship management systems, form providers, and business operations tools. These providers may use your information only to perform services on our behalf and should maintain reasonable security measures.
Advertising and social media platforms. We may share limited data with Google, Meta, LinkedIn, or similar platforms to run or measure advertisements, subject to their data-use requirements. We do not knowingly sell or share health information with advertising platforms.
Affiliates and co-branded partners. If you interact with an affiliate, sponsor, or co-branded offer, your information may be shared with or collected by that partner when clearly disclosed or when necessary to fulfill your request.
Legal requirements. We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or lawful governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or property, protect personal safety, prevent fraud, or respond to a real or perceived violation of this Policy or our other terms.
Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
With your consent. We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent.
5. Storage and International Transfers
Personal Data you provide is stored internally or through data management systems and is accessed only by those who help obtain, manage, store, process, or use it for legitimate business purposes. We may transfer data internationally. If you are located outside the United States, be aware that we may transfer Personal Data to the United States and process it there in accordance with this Policy.
6. Data Security
We take commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical steps to protect your Personal Data from misuse, disclosure, or unauthorized access, including encryption of data in transit, secure hosting infrastructure, and access controls where appropriate. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your Personal Data, we will take reasonable steps to assess the scope of the breach, restore the integrity of our systems, and provide notice where required by applicable law.
7. Data Retention
We retain your Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the information, products, or services you requested; operate and improve the Website; maintain business, legal, contractual, tax, and accounting records; resolve disputes; and enforce our agreements. As general guidance, contact form and inquiry records may be retained for up to 24 months unless you request earlier deletion and no exception applies; email marketing subscriber information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion; purchase and accounting records are retained for the period required by law; and analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider’s settings. After the applicable period, Personal Data is deleted, de-identified, or anonymized where reasonably feasible.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your Personal Data:
Request information about how your Personal Data is used and obtain a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you;

Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights; and

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 14. We will verify your identity where required and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. You may opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP where supported. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. 10. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Website may link to other websites, including transcendhealthmedical.com, and third-party tools for scheduling, analytics, payments, videos, email marketing, forms, advertising, communications, or other business functions. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site before providing your information.
We may use Google Analytics and advertising features, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or similar tools if enabled. 11. Testimonials, Endorsements, and Affiliate Relationships
The Website may include testimonials, endorsements, affiliate links, referral links, partner links, sponsor references, or product/service recommendations. Testimonials reflect individual experiences and do not guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar results. Results vary. Where we receive compensation, referral fees, affiliate commissions, gifts, discounts, or other material benefits from a product, service, partner, or link, we will make reasonable efforts to disclose that relationship in a clear and conspicuous manner near the relevant recommendation or link.
